Steel City Codefest brings together Pittsburgh’s tech, innovation,
local government, and nonprofit communities to create solutions for the area’s most
pressing social and civic problems.
Tech Chats
Coming in January, the Steel City Codefest team will be holding Tech Chats around the city. These events will provide an opportunity for local government and nonprofits to discuss their technology challenges with a panel of experts. Participants are encouraged to come prepared with technical questions or issues to discuss. Each nonprofit/government organization will be given individual time with the experts. The experts will discuss potential technology solutions to your issues, focusing on things that are free or low cost. All events will be the same so you only need to participate in one. These conversations will help to inform the format, timing, and goals of the next Steel City Codefest hackathon. Your technology issue may be chosen to receive a customize solution at the event. To learn more about the Steel City Codefest check out what happened last year.
